It’s been 26 years since the world lost the legendary Audrey Hepburn, but her legacy continues to shine brightly through the efforts of her loved ones. Her granddaughter, the talented model Emma Ferrer, has taken it upon herself to ensure that her grandmother's memory and values are never forgotten. At the UNICEF Snowflake Ball held on December 3, Emma shared how she keeps Audrey’s spirit alive through her work with the organization. “Honestly, it’s through the work with UNICEF. That’s a 100 percent true answer,” she told Closer Weekly exclusively at the event.

Emma’s Deep Involvement with UNICEF

Emma Ferrer isn’t just casually involved with UNICEF; she’s deeply committed to the cause. Over the past year, she’s been an integral part of the committee planning the UNICEF Snowflake Ball. “I’ve been lucky enough to be on the committee that plans this whole event this past year. That’s been really great,” Emma revealed with genuine enthusiasm. Her dedication doesn’t stop there. For the last two to three years, since moving to New York, Emma has been actively working closely with UNICEF. She’s even become a keynote speaker at most of their significant events, spreading awareness and inspiring others to join the cause.

Emma’s Heartfelt Connection to Her Grandmother

Emma Ferrer has always had a deep admiration for Audrey Hepburn, and it’s no surprise that she believes her grandmother would be most proud of her work with UNICEF. “If she’s looking down, she’d be most proud of [my work with UNICEF],” Emma shared with Closer during another exclusive interview. She acknowledges the profound impact Audrey had in paving the way for celebrities to become associated with important causes. “We have all these celebrities associated with causes now, but that wasn’t the case before her,” Emma explained with admiration.
