On the eve of the December 1 show, the legendary Donny & Marie star took her audience on a behind-the-scenes journey through the bustling backstage area of the popular CBS show.

“So, we’re backstage—this is the side door where all the props come in,” Marie, looking as radiant as ever at 60, began explaining as she started recording her video. “That’s where they have the big sign for The Talk and the cast photo right outside the studio,” she added, pointing to the iconic signage. “But anyway, this is the back prop area… and it’s super fun! Check it out—they’re getting everything ready for Christmas!”

In the clip, Marie, whose soulful voice graces the timeless hit “Paper Roses,” gave viewers a glimpse into the magic of The Talk. As she navigated the backstage area, she showcased the plethora of Christmas decorations that transformed the space into a winter wonderland. The scene was filled with perfectly adorned Christmas trees, glittering ornaments, and elegant red ribbons, all contributing to the holiday spirit.
Marie didn’t miss a beat as she interacted with the crew. “Hey, you’re in my video, say hello!” she playfully said to one of the workers who popped into the frame. “And you’re in there too, Matt, say hi!” she sweetly greeted another team member. “What would you call this, craft service?” she asked with a chuckle, highlighting the camaraderie and warmth backstage.

Beyond the dazzling holiday decorations, Marie also revealed the other fascinating elements hidden backstage. “Look, they have everything!” she exclaimed, panning the camera around the expansive area. “There’s food when we want to eat—bananas, salads, you name it—and that massive sign reminding everyone to ‘Please be quiet during the show,’” she pointed out with a grin.
“Isn’t this incredible? This is the entire backstage area. This is where the magic happens,” the Dancing With the Stars alum marveled. “From gift-wrapping packages, arranging flowers for the sets, to designing every detail, it’s all part of the whirlwind excitement that makes this show so special,” she added enthusiastically. It’s truly a behind-the-scenes experience that fans won’t soon forget.
