Let’s talk about love, shall we? For Vanna White, the beloved star of "Wheel of Fortune," a truly memorable date night doesn’t have to be extravagant or over-the-top. It’s all about simplicity and enjoying each other’s company. When asked about her ideal date night with boyfriend John Donaldson, Vanna had this to say: “It would be a very simple dinner with a bottle of wine.” Whether at home or a cozy restaurant, she insists, “As long as I’m not cooking! (laughs).”

Vanna and John have been together for eight years now, and they’re both perfectly content with where they are in life. Marriage, for them, isn’t about a piece of paper. “We’ve been together for so long, and it’s working. We’re both happy, so in both of our eyes, we feel married,” she explained. “Everybody’s different, so to each their own. I don’t think you necessarily have to get married unless you want to.”

Living Life on Her Terms

For Vanna, life isn’t just about romance. It’s about family, simplicity, and staying true to herself. She’s been married before—to film director George Santo Pietro in 1990—and they had two children together, son Niko, now 25, and daughter, now 21. They parted ways in 2002, but Vanna is more than content with her current setup. “Today, I am happy just the way things are,” she told Closer in a recent exclusive interview. “The biggest surprise to my fans is probably how simple I live in real life. I’m a real down-to-earth girl. I usually spend my days without makeup, wearing tennis shoes. I love the outdoors. I love waking up early when it’s quiet, going out on the balcony to hear the birds sing.”

Family First

While Vanna is doing great in the love department, her family remains her top priority. “My son is 25, and my daughter is 22. She’s graduating college this year, and my son is an organic farmer,” she shared proudly. “He loves growing vegetables and fruits and that kind of thing. So, they’re kind of on their path.”

It seems like all is well with Vanna and her life at the moment. She’s found a perfect balance between her career, her family, and her personal life, and she’s happier than ever.
