Marie Osmond, the beloved singer and television personality, recently opened up about the unique connection she shares with one of her eight children—her 30-year-old daughter, Rachael Krueger. In an exclusive chat with Closer Weekly, Marie revealed that she and Rachael are remarkably similar in so many ways. It’s like looking in the mirror for Marie, and it’s a relationship she treasures deeply.
A Mother-Daughter Duo That’s Unstoppable
Marie shared with Closer Weekly, “My daughter Rachael and I are very similar in a lot of ways. She’s got that same go-getter personality that I do. She’s always on the move, always wanting to know more, do more, and experience everything life has to offer. She’s never satisfied with just sitting still. Just recently, she took a hair class, and now she’s diving into another class. It’s inspiring to see her passion and drive.”
A Family Balancing Act
On top of her own personal pursuits, Rachael has her hands full as a mom to two adorable kids. She welcomed her first daughter, Rocket Jade, back in 2015. Then, just this summer, she added another little bundle of joy to the family. Marie couldn’t be prouder of her daughter, who’s juggling her career and motherhood with grace and determination.

Marie’s excitement was palpable when she announced the arrival of her newest grandson. “My newest grandson was born as the fireworks were going off last night for the #FourthOfJuly celebrations!” she gleefully posted on Instagram. “#RocketJade is excited to be a big sister, and the Krueger family of four is all happy and well. @CMNHospitals are the best!!” It’s moments like these that truly highlight the joy and love in Marie’s life.
Celebrating Milestones with Love and Gratitude

Back in May 2016, she told Closer Weekly how much it means to her to be a doting grandma to multiple grandchildren. “Out of all the awards and accolades that I have been blessed with throughout my life, nothing comes close in comparison with the blessings I receive from being a mother to my eight children and grandma to five,” she said at the time.
