Let’s talk about Marie Osmond, a woman who just hit the big 6-0. On Sunday, October 13, the world celebrated her birthday, but if you ask her, she’s just getting started. In a candid and exclusive chat with Closer Weekly, the legendary "Paper Roses" singer opened up about her never-ending list of goals and aspirations.
A Life of Accomplishments
Marie Osmond is nothing short of a powerhouse. In her own words, she feels "so blessed" for the diverse opportunities she's had throughout her career. She credits her work ethic as a source of stability and joy, especially during challenging times. "Life threw me a lot of lemons, but work was always my lemonade," she reflects. "It was a place where I could support my family and escape from the chaos. Onstage, I could leave all my problems behind for an hour. It's been a safe haven for me."

From Teenager to Icon
Marie's journey in the music industry began when she was just a teenager, and since then, she's accomplished more than most people could ever dream of. She co-hosted the iconic variety show "Donny & Marie" with her brother Donny Osmond, authored three New York Times best-selling books, competed on season 5 of "Dancing With the Stars" (placing fifth), raised eight children, earned three Grammy nominations, performed in a successful 11-year Las Vegas residency with Donny, and even joined "The Talk" as a co-host for season 11. But guess what? Marie isn't ready to stop. Not even close.

She loves everything she does," Marie gushed. "I admire her so much. She played my mom back in the day, and I'd love to work with her again someday."

Marie's mention of her past collaboration with Betty White has fans hoping for a reunion. The 97-year-old Golden Girl alum is an inspiration to many, including Marie, who dreams of emulating her passion and zest for life.
