Maureen reminisced, “I first fell in love with Ed back in the San Fernando Valley, when TV shows were still in black and white. Watching him on our screen was magical. But years after The Brady Bunch, I got the chance to work with him on Lou Grant. I was given a dramatic role, and let me tell you, I was absolutely terrified.” The 63-year-old beauty shared these candid thoughts exclusively with Closer Weekly during the star-studded celebration.

Maureen went on to describe how Ed made her feel welcome and supported on the set of Lou Grant, a 1970s drama series. She recalled, “When I arrived on set, Ed didn’t hesitate. He walked right up to me, gave me a big hug, and just made me feel like part of the family. Throughout filming, he was always by my side, offering encouragement and guidance. He’s one of the kindest actors I’ve ever worked with, and his generosity and warmth have stayed with me ever since.”
