Jenna Bush Hager’s Heartfelt Throwback Post
There’s something magical about looking back at where we’ve come from, and Jenna Bush Hager knows this all too well. The beloved Today co-host recently opened up about the importance of her childhood in shaping who she is today as both a person and a mother. She took us down memory lane with a sweet Instagram post that tugged at our heartstrings.
A Nostalgic Glimpse into Jenna’s Past
On October 1, Jenna, now 37, shared a heartwarming throwback photo on Instagram. The picture captured her and her twin sister, Barbara Pierce Bush, holding hands with their dad, former President George W. Bush, in front of what was once The Ballpark in Arlington, the former home of the Texas Rangers. Alongside it, she posted a photo of herself with her own little one, her daughter Mila. "Although I’m back home, my heart is still in Texas," Jenna captioned the photos, giving her followers a peek into her cherished memories.
Emotions Running High at Mila’s First Game
Jenna wasn’t prepared for how emotional it would feel to take Mila to her first baseball game, especially since it was the last game at the stadium her father had a hand in building. But then, she stumbled upon an old photo that reminded her of the simpler times. "This was my childhood: my parents brought us to almost every game," she wrote. "Baseball meant family. It meant slow evenings under the stars, bubble gum, and conversations about everything and nothing. How lucky we were. How lucky I am." Jenna's words painted a vivid picture of her formative years and the values instilled in her through these experiences.

Her fans couldn’t help but respond with heartfelt comments. "I love this for so many reasons," one follower commented. "What a great dad! This is the good stuff," another added. Jenna was reminded of her own childhood memories after taking Mila, who is six, to the Rangers’ final home game at the current ballpark before they move into Globe Life Field in 2020.
A Sweet Celebration of Family Traditions
In another Instagram post, Jenna captured her family enjoying the game, writing, "Sweetest first baseball game for Mila — last game in the stadium that for the last 26 years brought us so many memories." She reminisced about being Mila’s age when her father first started working for the Rangers, teaching her how to keep score and introducing her to lifelong friends under the Texas stars.

Beyond Mila, Jenna also shares two other children with her husband, Henry Hager, 41: their daughter Poppy, 4, and baby boy Henry "Hal." And while her father, the former president, may have been a little miffed that
