Marie, who turned 59 at the time, took to Instagram on September 10, 2019, to share the lovely surprise her big brother Donny, her husband Steve, and a few close friends had arranged for her big day. “Thank you to my @CBS Execs., @juliechencbs, @rogersandcowan, my husband and management, and my sweet brother @donnyosmond for the beautiful flowers for my first day on #TheTalk,” she wrote alongside a gallery of images showcasing the stunning bouquets. “It made me so very happy every time I walked into my dressing room. Marie officially joined the panel on Monday, September 9, stepping into the spotlight alongside Carrie Ann Inaba, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, and Eve. This moment marked the beginning of her new role as Sara Gilbert's replacement. “It is such a joy for me to be joining The Talk in September. After guest cohosting and appearing as a guest on the show throughout the years, I am thrilled to now call this my day job,” Marie expressed in an official press release.
