It's no surprise that Joanna Gaines, the queen of design and all things Magnolia, is raising her kids with a strong work ethic. Recently, it seems like her youngest child, Crew, has been taking after her. The 41-year-old mom shared a heartwarming moment from her office on Instagram, where her little one was spotted crawling around.
Earlier this week, Joanna took a moment to post an adorable photo of her one-year-old son exploring her workspace. In the picture, Crew is seen peeking out from behind a couch, looking as curious as ever. Joanna playfully captioned the post, “Don’t tell my little office buddy that I’m just now getting around to ordering his birth announcements—one year late is surely better than never, right? In my defense, this year has flown by!”
As you might expect, Joanna’s fans couldn’t get enough of the sweet post. Comments flooded in with loving messages. One fan quipped, “Sharing your time with Crew and your other four children, when do you have time to turn around, lol? Love to all.” Another added, “I think the whole world already knows! Such a cutie.” It’s clear that Joanna’s fans adore her family just as much as they adore her work.

The Gaines Family Legacy of Hard Work
Joanna and her husband, Chip Gaines, are proud parents to five children: Emmie Kay, 9, Ella Rose, 13, Drake, 14, Duke, and baby Crew. These kids aren’t just along for the ride—they’re deeply involved in their parents' business at Magnolia headquarters in Waco, Texas. Joanna shared in an interview with People, “They love being here. I always try to involve them with what we’re doing at work.”
Each child has their own unique role in the family business. Drake, the eldest, loves the production side of things. During the summer, he joins the team to learn editing skills. Ella Rose, the second eldest, is a lot like her mom. Joanna said, “I think she’ll follow in my footsteps and have her hand in a lot of things. Right now, she wants to cook, be a lead designer, and even run a donut truck!”
Where Do Duke and Emmie Fit In?
As for Duke and Emmie, they enjoy interacting with customers. Joanna explained, “They love talking to people and making connections. It’s amazing to see how each of them finds their own niche within our business.” It’s clear that Joanna and Chip are raising a family of entrepreneurs who understand the value of hard work and dedication.
