Even though Luke Perry passed away earlier this year in March, his final performance will grace the big screen in Quentin Tarantino’s highly anticipated film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Brad Pitt, who starred alongside Perry, recently shared heartfelt memories of working with the Riverdale star. Luke filmed all his scenes for the movie before his untimely passing following a massive stroke.
Brad Pitt Reflects on His Time With Luke Perry
Speaking about the film, which is set in Los Angeles during 1969 and explores the life of a fading TV star and his stunt double while also touching on the infamous Manson family murders, Pitt expressed, “It was this incredible burst of excitement for me, to act alongside him.” Recalling his early days in the industry, the 55-year-old actor added, “I remember going to the studios years ago when Beverly Hills, 90210 was filming, and Luke was this beacon of coolness for us as teenagers. He really left an impression.”

Pitt also mentioned how he and the rest of the cast, including Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie, felt like "kids in a candy shop" when they first saw Luke on set. It was a moment of awe and admiration for everyone involved.
