Let’s just say, this is a conversation no dad wants to have. Dean McDermott, the charismatic host of Chopped Canada, found himself in an awkward position when his son Jack unexpectedly walked in on him and his wife, Tori Spelling. It wasn’t just your typical "birds and the bees" talk; this was real-life, in-the-moment stuff. On Monday, June 24, during an episode of his podcast "Daddy Issues," Dean shared the story with cohosts Adam Hunter, Nicky Paris, and Jay Mohr.
That Awkward Moment When Your Kid Walks In
Dean recounted the story with a mix of humor and candor. He explained, “When Tori and I first got together, I had Jack every other weekend. One night, he couldn’t sleep, and we were... well, you know, making a lot of noise. I happened to glance towards the door, and I saw the doorknob turning.” Imagine that moment. You’re in the middle of something private, and suddenly, reality hits you like a ton of bricks. Dean, quick on his feet, jumped into action. “I didn’t hear it, I saw it turn, and I was like, ‘Oh, s–t,’ and then a crack of light appeared. I immediately jumped off and sat on the edge of the bed,” he recalled. Jack, curious and concerned, asked, “Dad, is everything OK?” Dean, thinking fast, replied, “Yeah, I just got a migraine.” Smooth move, Dean!
Dean and Tori: Keeping the Spark Alive
While this story might have been an awkward moment, it seems that Dean and Tori have a pretty vibrant relationship. Dean wasn’t shy about sharing the details of their intimate connection on the podcast. “We go every day,” he confessed. “It never stops.” It’s clear that their marriage is not just about raising their five kids together. It’s about maintaining a strong bond and passion. Dean even went on to gush about his wife. “She’s sexy as hell,” he said. “I look at her, and she just oozes sexuality.” It’s no wonder they’ve been married for over thirteen years. Their connection is undeniable.
