Let’s talk about teamwork, folks. Even though Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani are no longer together, they're still on the same page when it comes to raising their kids. In a candid moment, Gavin opened up about the state of their parenting partnership during an interview with Us Weekly.
At the world premiere of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum in Brooklyn on May 9, the 53-year-old rocker gave us a peek into their shared parenting style. “We both manage to feed them and get them to school on time, more or less!” he joked. And let’s not forget, they’re juggling quite the brood—sons Kingston, 12, Zuma, 10, and Apollo, 5. That’s no small feat, people.
Parenting Like Pros

Gavin reassures fans that the boys are thriving. “They’re doing really good,” he shared. “They’re really happy, and that’s what matters most. We’re doing the best we can.” When asked about the wisdom he imparts on his children, Gavin summed it up simply: “Be a whole, interesting, and considerate human being that makes this world a better place. That’s it, that’s all I tell them!”

The Split: A New Chapter
Gavin and Gwen tied the knot in 2002, but by 2016, their marriage came to an end. Despite the split, both have been open about their feelings. Gwen once confided in Glamour, saying, “Marriage was the one thing I didn’t want to fail at. People can say whatever they want about me, and it doesn’t affect me much. But I didn’t want them to think I was a failure.”

Gavin, too, has reflected on the divorce with The Sunday Times. “Enough is enough. I’ve got to move on. Everyone has to move on,” he expressed. “For me, it’s all about thinking of our three sons and how to prioritize them.”
He added, “That’s the driving force behind everything. You just have to… I don’t know. Somehow you have to put one foot after the other and make it happen.”
Putting the Kids First
It’s truly heartwarming to see Gwen and Gavin continuing to work together for the sake of their kids. Their ability to set aside differences and focus on what’s best for their family is a testament to their strength and love for their children. It’s a reminder that even when life throws curveballs, what really matters is the well-being of those we hold dear.
