John and Ella's collaboration in the new film The Poison Rose has given fans a glimpse into the dynamic between this father-daughter duo. Despite the tough conditions, she nailed it. The crew even gave her a big applause because you wouldn’t typically give such a challenging role to anyone at that time of day. But I told her, ‘Well, you’re on your own. You’ve got to deliver.’ And she did.”
