After sharing some initially concerning news—that her daughter Brianna Blosil’s newborn baby girl was in the NICU—Marie has now shared some much-needed good news. Her new granddaughter, Maude, is doing well and thriving. And that’s not all—Marie also gave us a peek at the little one with an adorable first photo and her sweet, celestial name.

From Worry to Wonder: Marie’s Journey with Her New Granddaughter
When Maude was born on May 23, weighing in at a healthy 6lbs 10oz, Marie initially asked for prayers for her precious new granddaughter. “Asking for prayers for my precious granddaughter born this evening,” she wrote on that day. The little one was immediately taken to the children’s ICU at one of the amazing @CMNHospitals, which Marie expressed immense gratitude for. Maude is Brianna’s first child with her husband David Schwep, and you can only imagine the whirlwind of emotions that must have been swirling around this young family. Thankfully, Maude is on the mend and doing much better. It’s a relief to hear that the little angel is in such capable hands and recovering well.
Family Love in Full Bloom
It seems like the Osmond family has plenty of joy to go around. Just one day before sharing the adorable photo of Maude, Marie gushed about her other daughter Rachael Krueger’s baby shower. “Yesterday my incredible daughter-in-law Claire put on the most wonderful #babyshower for my daughter Rachael,” she wrote. “It was held at my girlfriend Michelle’s house, and the amount of love and attention to detail was just breathtaking. Rachael was overwhelmed with emotion, saying several times throughout the day, ‘I feel so loved!’”
Marie went on to describe how she sat on the couch holding her youngest grandson Maxwell, feeling the overwhelming joy emanating from the party. “I locked that moment in my heart because it was absolute bliss,” she said. “The love I have for all of them took my breath away.” It’s clear that this family is growing in the most beautiful way, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for them.
