Billy Joel's Lullaby Struggles

During a recent fan Q&A session at the Faena Forum in Miami, the legendary 70-year-old singer opened up about his bedtime routine. It turns out, when it comes to lullabies for his daughters, Della, 4, and Remy, 2, Billy isn't exactly earning rave reviews. "I make up words every night when I'm singing to them," he admitted. "But let me tell you, they aren't all that impressed." Can you imagine? The guy who wrote some of the most iconic songs in history, and his kids just aren't feeling it. Ouch!

Family Matters: Billy's Brood

Alexa once revealed to Closer Weekly, "I've been singing [his song] 'New York State of Mind' with him at Madison Square Garden, which is a dream." "I had no idea how famous they were," she admitted. Thankfully, their relationship has grown stronger over the years, and Alexa has the full support of both her parents as she pursues her own singing career.

Mom's Influence: Lessons from Christie Brinkley

Alexa Ray often reflects on the invaluable lessons she learned from her mother, Christie Brinkley. "I literally hear her voice in my mind," Alexa explained. "She's always reminding me about posture, smiling, and being kind to everyone I meet. She's like a guiding light, urging me to be grateful and happy when I get nervous before shows." Clearly, Christie has instilled some powerful principles in her daughter.

Alexa Ray continued, "She has endless energy. She just feeds off of life. She’s got this natural high going, and she really is the most vivacious magical person to be around. It’s hard to put into words. I always say it's like blindingly bright sunshine coming at you. That’s how I would describe Mom." Sounds like Christie is not just a supermodel but a superwoman too.
