Brooke acknowledges how much the entertainment landscape has changed, especially with the rise of social media platforms where personal lives are often laid bare for all to see.
Raising Kids in the Age of Social Media
As a devoted mother to daughters Rowan, 16, and Grier, 13, Brooke takes an active role in guiding them through the complexities of modern life. She keeps a close eye on what they post online, aiming to help them maintain a healthy self-image and respect for their bodies. “I want them to feel confident in who they are and understand that their body belongs to them,” Brooke explained. “It’s scary sometimes to see what they think is okay to share or what’s getting likes. I have to remind them to stay true to themselves and not rush into things.”

Brooke’s daughters are growing up in a world vastly different from the one she experienced as a child. While they embrace social media and share personal photos, Brooke finds joy in posting lighthearted, relatable content herself. “My girls have so much confidence in how they look, which I didn’t have growing up. They take pictures that are personal and fun, even if they’re a little quirky,” she said. “People actually love that stuff—it connects us all in a meaningful way.”

Brooke considers being a mom her most fulfilling role, even though it hasn’t always been easy. In a heartfelt interview with the Sunday Telegraph, she opened up about the emotional struggle of realizing she wouldn’t have more children. “When I accepted that I wouldn’t have any more kids, it was a profound moment for me,” she revealed. “It was like grieving the loss of something I’d never even had. But now, I cherish every moment with Rowan and Grier.”
