“Taylor decided to dart out of the elevator and pull off a prank on me,” Tarek recalled with a laugh, sharing the story with People. “She screamed at the top of her lungs, ‘Daddy farted!’ to everyone in the hotel. And guess what? A good number of people actually recognized me.” He went on to say, “So there I was, standing in the middle of the hotel lobby, red-faced, while the entire place erupted in laughter, all because my daughter thought it would be hilarious to announce my supposed gas issues to the world. Their first day of school was yesterday and they look so BIG!!!!!❤️❤️❤️ . How can you look at this picture and not smile?! They are SO cute, and I love them with all my heart!! ❤️😊 . People always talk about finding their why, and for me this is it. Super simple, everything I do is for these two! It’s always a super bitter sweet time of the year for me because on one hand I’m so proud to see them continue to grow and go onto another year school, but on the other hand it means seeing them less. . It makes me miss them interrupting me on phone calls, or Brayden screaming at his sister when daddy’s trying to record a voiceover 😂 It’s all about perspective folks!! . Just feeling super grateful today, and I can’t wait for another great year with my amazing family ❤️ .

Now, as mortifying as that moment might have been, Tarek, who's 38 years young, embraces it all with a sense of humor and a whole lot of love for his kids. “My kids make me proud every single day,” he gushed, not holding back. “There’s always something new to celebrate, and that’s one of the greatest joys of being a parent. Watching them grow, seeing their personalities blossom—it’s incredible.”

The Bond That Keeps Getting Stronger

Tarek shares Taylor and his younger son, Brayden, with his ex-wife, Christina Anstead.
