High-Risk Pregnancy: Tamron Opens Up About Her Fears
At 48 years old, Tamron knew from the start that this pregnancy would come with challenges. “I was high-risk—not just because of my age, but due to other medical factors,” she explained. “My doctor was incredibly supportive and told me, ‘This is your body, your health. Share as much or as little of your journey as you feel comfortable with.’”
But Tamron’s worries ran deep. “I was terrified that I might lose this baby, and if that happened, I’d have to go back and tell everyone that the news had turned bad,” she admitted. “And by the time I announced, I was already 32 weeks along. It was such a personal decision, and I just wasn’t ready to share everything right away.”

Why Tamron Waited to Announce Her Pregnancy
Tamron was 32 weeks pregnant when she finally broke the news. But she considered waiting even longer before letting the world know. “I wasn’t mentally prepared to handle any complications,” she revealed. “That’s why I waited so long. Honestly, if I could’ve kept it private until delivery day, I would’ve done that. I just wanted to protect myself and my baby.”

Tamron’s journey to becoming a mom wasn’t easy. She faced numerous hurdles, including fertility treatments in her 30s, which she described as an “eye-opening experience.” Looking back, she realized she wasn’t alone in her struggles, but that realization didn’t always bring comfort. “It made me feel more sad than empowered,” she confessed. “I knew that some women would have to give up along the way, and that thought weighed heavily on me.”
As the years went by, Tamron’s perspective shifted. “In my 30s, I still felt like I had time. The fertility clinic felt like a bright room full of hope,” she recalled. “But in my 40s, everything seemed different. The walls felt gray, the faces felt gray—nothing seemed shiny or optimistic anymore.”

Despite these challenges, Tamron persevered. “Just like with my career, there were so many frustrations,” she said. “I was putting in the work, taking care of my mind and body, and yet, I kept facing rejection.
