While many moms might struggle with saying goodbye to their kids heading off to college, Angelina Jolie is embracing the moment. Yes, she’s proud and excited for her son Maddox Jolie-Pitt as he begins his college journey in Asia. But here's the twist: she’s not planning to stay away for long. Maddox's New Journey
Maddox, now 18, is about to start his freshman year at Yonsei University in South Korea, where he'll study biochemistry. At 44, Angelina couldn't be more thrilled for her eldest child. The Maleficent star was all smiles as she said goodbye to Maddox, though she admitted it wasn’t easy. "I’m trying not to cry," she was overheard saying. Her pride in Maddox's accomplishments is palpable, and it’s clear she wants to support him in every way possible, even from afar.
A Different Approach from Brad Pitt
Meanwhile, things seem a little different on Brad Pitt's side. A source told Us Weekly that Brad won’t be attending Maddox's send-off and hasn't spent much time with him lately. "Maddox doesn’t really see himself as Brad’s son," the source explained. Despite this, Angelina has encouraged Maddox to forge a new path with his father, the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star, who is 55 years old.Angelina is clearly in awe of her three boys, including Pax Jolie-Pitt, 15, and Knox Jolie-Pitt, 11. "I could not be prouder of my sons for the men they are becoming, the way they respect their sisters and are respected by them," she recently told ELLE. It's no wonder she's so excited about Maddox's journey and what it means for the rest of her family.
